Developers in Greater Lincolnshire with unfinished sites have been urged to apply for a share of a Government funding pot.

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP is encouraging builders to submit expressions of interest for the £420 million Get Britain Building Investment Fund.

The fund, administered by the Homes and Communities Agency, aims to support firms which are currently unable to access development finance. A spokesman for the LEP said: "The fund's priority is to service viable, good value for money schemes of at least 25 units that already have planning permission in place, as well as schemes that will deliver units early. "It will be available, but not limited to, small and medium-sized developers, via loans and equity investments. "The Government will seek to recover its investments, which will cover no more than 50 per cent of a project's total costs." The deadline for expressions of interest to the Get Britain Building Investment Fund is January 30 and full details are available at www.homesandcommunities.co.uk/get-britain-building.
